Hoor Yousafzai is an accomplished CEO with a proven track record of success. Since 2017, she has been leading Akbar Kare Institute (“AKi”) as its CEO, playing a pivotal role in enhancing the organization’s formal corporate structure. Under her leadership, AKi has achieved significant milestones, including registration with the Pakistan Center of Philanthropy (PCP), an increased number of members on the Board
of Directors, exemptions from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and the inclusion of foreign specialist pediatrician as an advisor. IN addition to her role at AKi, Hoor Yousafzai serves as the CEO of Saif Holdings Ltd, the holding company of the esteemed Saif Group of Companies. Her extensive experience and expertise in finance and leadership have earned her a reputation as a seasoned and outcome-oriented executive. With over 20 years of experience, she has been actively responsible for establishing long-range goals, formulating strategies, developing plans, and implementing policies. Hoor Yousafzai holds an impressive academic background. Prior to joining Saif Group, she completed her articles in KPMG Chartered Accountants, Pakistan, where she gained valuable experience in the field of accounting. As a Fellow Chartered Accountant, she possesses a deep understanding of financial matters. Furthermore, she holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Economics, demonstrating her multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving. Throughout her educational journey, she consistently excelled and received numerous distinctions, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and

HAMMAD MUSTAFA

Hammad Mustafa is a highly skilled Finance & Accounts specialist with an impressive track record of over 22 years in the field. Currently, he plays a pivotal role in the strategic financial decision-making process
under the supervision of the Board of Directors of multiple companies of Saif Group. As an affiliate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and a holder of a Masters in Business Administration, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his position. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Hammad Mustafa’s primary focus lies in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and efficient utilization of funds at Akbar Kare Institute (“AKi”). With his deep understanding of finance and accounts, he contributes to the institute’s financial stability and sustainable growth. His strategic approach to financial management enables AKi to make informed decisions and allocate resources effectively, ultimately benefiting the children and the organization as a whole.
HUMA ALI

Huma Habib has been a valued Akbar Kare Institute (AKi) team member since April 2011. In her role, she plays a crucial part in ensuring the seamless execution of all operations necessary to keep AKi running smoothly and providing the best possible service to children. With over 13 years of experience in the development sector, Huma Habib brings a wealth of expertise to her position. Holding a master’s degree in Public Health and Epidemiology from the University of Melbourne, Australia, Huma Habib possesses a strong educational background that complements her practical experience. Her academic training equips her with a deep understanding of public health principles and epidemiological methods, allowing her to contribute effectively to AKi’s mission of improving the well-being of children. With her combination of practical experience, educational background, and passion for improving the lives of children, Huma Habib plays a vital role in the success of AKi. Her commitment to providing the best possible services and her understanding of the unique needs of the development sector contribute to the
institute’s ongoing growth and impact.
Dr. Suleman Daud Khan
(Clinical Advisor)
Dr. Suleman Daud Khan is a highly specialized pediatrician with a distinguished background in children’s development and neuro-disability. He holds an MBBS degree from KMC Peshawar and has pursued further studies and certifications from renowned institutions worldwide. Dr. Khan’s qualifications include a DCH from London, an MSc in Community Pediatrics from the Institute of Child Health in London, MRCP Pediatrics from Eire, and FRCPCH from the United Kingdom. Dr. Khan’s expertise lies in the identification, assessment, diagnosis, and management of developmental disorders and disabling conditions in children. His extensive experience and dedication to research have led him to conduct studies and present papers on various aspects of childhood development. Currently, he serves
as an Advisor for Kreative Kinder Haus, an institution in Islamabad that caters to children with special needs. Additionally, Dr. Khan has maintained a long-standing association with Akbar Kare Institute, conducting clinics and seminars focused on Cerebral Palsy and Developmental disorders. With a strong focus on children with neuro-disabilities, Dr. Suleman Daud Khan collaborates with children,
parents, caregivers, professionals, and relevant educational and social care agencies to provide comprehensive management and treatment. He is highly skilled in fostering partnerships and ensuring a
holistic approach to care. As a Teacher and Trainer in Pediatrics, Childhood Development, and related disorders, Dr. Khan shares his knowledge and expertise with aspiring healthcare professionals, contributing to the field’s growth and development.
Dr. Daud Khan has also served as a Consultant Pediatrician and the Clinical Lead for Child Development Teams in the United Kingdom. He held the position of Senior Lecturer in the Academic Department of Child Health at the University of Aberdeen. As a Consultant Pediatrician at the Department of Community Child Health in the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, he led a team of pediatricians, overseeing community child health-related work in the Aberdeen region. Dr. Suleman Daud Khan’s exceptional qualifications, vast experience, and commitment to advancing children’s health and development make him an invaluable asset in the field of pediatric medicine. Muhammad Raza

Muhammad Raza is a dedicated member of Akbar Kare Institute (AKi), having been involved since its inception in 2005. He holds a graduate degree from Gandhara University and has played a pivotal role in the
institute’s growth and development over the years. As a co-head of the department, Mr. Raza assumes a crucial position that entails overseeing the performance of staff, providing support for their professional growth, and envisioning strategies to ensure AKi operates in a modern and efficient manner. With his extensive experience, Muhammad Raza has cultivated specialist clinical skills that contribute to the institute’s success. He has particularly focused on developing expertise in Spina Bifida, a birth defect that affects the proper formation of the spine and spinal cord. This specialization enables him to provide comprehensive care and support to patients with this condition, utilizing his in-depth knowledge and skills. Additionally, Mr. Raza has earned certification in Prechtl’s General Movement Assessment (GMA), a valuable tool used in the evaluation of neurological conditions in infants. This certification showcases his
commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements and techniques in his field. Muhammad Raza’s dedication to his role and his continuous professional development greatly benefit AKi

SAADIA AHMAD

Saadia Ahmad is an esteemed member of AKbar Kare Institute (AKi), having joined the organization in 2014 after completing her bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. Driven by her passion for helping children
with developmental disabilities, she further pursued her education and successfully obtained a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Currently, she is also pursuing a Masters in Public Health, broadening her knowledge and understanding of public health principles.
With eight years of dedicated service at AKi, Saadia Ahmad has been instrumental in providing specialized care to children with various developmental disabilities. Her commitment to early intervention led her to develop expertise in this area starting in 2018. She firmly believes in the importance of early detection and intervention to support children’s optimal development. Saadia Ahmad’s proficiency extends to Prechtl’s General Movement Assessment (GMA), an internationally recognized guideline for the early detection of atypical neurological development in infants under five months of age. Her certification in this assessment tool showcases her dedication to staying abreast of the latest techniques and approaches in her field.
In her role, Saadia Ahmad utilizes her skills in a thoughtful and compassionate manner, ensuring that her interactions with children and families are focused on empowering them. She creates a friendly and supportive environment that encourages families to actively participate in their child’s development journey.Her approach aims to surprise and encourage parents by showcasing the progress and achievements their children can make with the right support and guidance. Dr. SABEENA AHMED
(Medical Officer)
Dr.Sabeena Ahmad did MBBS from Rehman Medical College in 2018 and has experience in Demonstration for 2 years. She is working as a Medical Officer at Akbar Kare Institute, responsible for taking history, examination of children, counseling the parents, and then referring the patients to the Physiotherapy department or any other respected field based on the initial assessment, working as a team member with other therapists. While working at AKI she got the opportunity to learn a lot about how to deal with the patients of Cerebral palsy and their parents.
SALIM KHAN
(Clinical Supervisor)
Salim Khan graduated with Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Khyber Medical University in 2015 and joined Akbar Kare in 2016. He completed his Master’s in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy also from KMU in 2017, studying for this whilst also working and learning full-time at AKI. His current position in AKI is of Clinical Supervisor and Senior Physical Therapist. This role allows him to help junior staff, and visiting students from local universities, understand the principles and modern theories for helping children with developmental disabilities to improve their quality of life. He has developed specialist knowledge in assessing and identifying the problems many children with movement disorders have with their hip joint development. We use a standardized approach, a Hip Surveillance tool, this is a technology that is internationally accepted as best practice.
SHANDANA HABIB
(Education Officer)
Shandana Habib joined AKI in 2012 as a teacher and she is now the Therapeutic and Education Supervisor. Previously she worked as a teacher in a busy primary school and has a lot of experience in managing how to bring out the best in every child. Much of her work is directed towards improving the fine motor and cognitive skills of children with special needs. Shandana works with children to prepare them for formal schooling and to provide a conducive and caring environment in which child feels happy and secure enough to develop positive attitudes towards learning. She often encourages the parents to join in activities. Shandana is involved in supporting parents through their queries and concerns regarding their child’s behavioral issues. She also arranges monthly birthday parties for children with disabilities. She loves working with children and feels blessed to be able to help them in so many ways.
SYEDA FIZZA SHAH NAQVI
(Physiotherapist)
Syeda Fizza Shah has been working at AKI from December 2022 till date. She did her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Rehman Medical Institute (RMI). She is now enrolled in Masters of Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy from RIPHAH International University, Islamabad. She is experienced in different domains related to physical therapy and specialized in Cardiopulmonary as well as pediatric physical therapy. Her objective is to promote independency in disable child.
SYEDA SAKINA ASGHAR
(Physiotherapist)
Syeda Sakina Asghar has been working with us since 15th Nov 2022 till date. She did her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Rehman Medical Institute (RMI), back in 2020. She has also completed her specialization in Masters of Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy in July 2023, from Riphah International University, Islamabad. She has almost 3 years of clinical knowledge and experience in different domains of physical therapy at different hospitals, rehab centers, and individual clinical setup, especially different kinds of disabilities, musculoskeletal, neuro-rehabilitation, cardio-pulmonary and pediatric physical therapy. She has worked with Autism Jewel Center in 2022 for increasing her clinical experience. She has also worked with RCPD association as an Incharge of the department while dealing with different kinds of disability along with Frontier Works Organization (FWO). She is a licensed AHA-BLS & ACLS practitioner & a Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT).
AHSAN SHABIR

As a paediatric physiotherapist, Muhammad Aahsan Shabir works with families and children who have developmental disruptions. we often deal with movement difficulties, neurodevelopmental disorders but kids may also have additional limitations that influence their cognition, language, and psychosocial concerns. I graduated from Khyber Medical University with a bachelor’s degree in DPT. I began working in health care sector since 1st may 2022 and then came to Aki as intern peads physiotherapy from November 28, 2022, to May 28, 2023, and I’ve been there ever since.
ASHBAN NELSON

Ashban Nelson, a pediatric physiotherapist, works with families and children to improve quality of life who have some disruptions in their course of events. we frequently deal with neurodevelopmental disorders, but patients may also present with various disabilities that affect perception, language, physical and psychosocial problems.I graduated from Khyber University Medical with a DPT degree and currently enrolled in sports MS from RIpha international university, and from July 16, 2022, to November 30, 2022, I worked as an intern physiotherapist before getting a permanent job starting in December 2022.
MAIMOONA KHAN

Maimoona khan has been working as a paediatric physiotherapist with us since 15 November 2022 till date, She is working here as a physiotherapist by educating parents and treating children with different disabilities through different physical activities and play to improve their quality of life. Her works experience also involves patient history, assessment and management. She holds a degree in physical therapy from Khyber Medical university and now doing masters in sports from riphah international university.
SHAHID ALI
(Admin Manager)
Shahid Ali has been working with us since 2011. As Admin Manager he manages all the groundwork required for the smooth operations of our organization. Shahid did his bachelor’s in computer science and holds a master’s degree in Economics. His primary responsibilities at Akbar Kare include supply chain management, database administration and IT management, finance, and tax assistance with compliance with FBR Pakistan.
