AKi has a fully functional orthotic department comprising casting and modification rooms. Here we assess children who need more extensive bracing, to help them stand up and walk with help. If a child needs any orthotic support, the therapist along with our orthotist assesses the child to decide on the appropriate aid. We are grateful to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) for providing the equipment for our orthotic workshop.
