Rana Muhammad Shafi is an esteemed professional who holds the position of Senior Advisor to the Saif Group of Companies. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role, with a career spanning over 52 years in the fields of Cost and Management Accounting, Corporate Accounting, administration, and Treasury & Financial Management. Mr. Shafi holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce and successfully completed the ICMA Inter from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan, further enhancing his expertise in cost and management accounting.
As the Senior Advisor to the Saif Group of Companies, Rana Muhammad Shafi plays a crucial role in providing strategic guidance and valuable insights to the organization. HOOR YOUSAFZAI - FCA
Hoor Yousafzai is an accomplished CEO with a proven track record of success. Since 2017, she has been leading Akbar Kare Institute (“AKi”) as its CEO, playing a pivotal role in enhancing the organization’s formal corporate structure. Under her leadership, AKi has achieved significant milestones, including
registration with the Pakistan Center of Philanthropy (PCP), an increased number of members on the Board of Directors, exemptions from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and the inclusion of foreign specialist pediatrician as an advisor. In addition to her role at AKi, Hoor Yousafzai serves as the CEO of Saif Holdings Ltd, the holding company of the esteemed Saif Group of Companies. Her extensive experience and expertise in finance and leadership have earned her a reputation as a seasoned and outcome-oriented executive. With over 20 years of experience, she has been actively responsible for establishing long-range goals, formulating strategies,
developing plans, and implementing policies.
Hoor Yousafzai holds an impressive academic background. Prior to joining Saif Group, she completed her articles in KPMG Chartered Accountants, Pakistan, where she gained valuable experience in the field of accounting. As a Fellow Chartered Accountant, she possesses a deep understanding of financial matters. Furthermore, she holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Economics, demonstrating her multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving. Throughout her educational journey, she consistently excelled and received numerous distinctions, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and personal growth.
MAJ GEN Retd. DR AKHTAR WAHEED
Maj Gen Dr. Akhtar Waheed is a highly accomplished individual with a distinguished career in the medical field. He holds several degrees, including an MBBS, MCPS, FCPS, and MSc, and is a graduate of King Edward Medical University. He joined the Armed Forcesin 1980, where he served as a physician for an impressive 26 years. During this time, he worked in various primary, secondary, and tertiary care military hospitals, gaining extensive experience in healthcare delivery. After retiring in 2015, he worked as the Dean/Principal of Foundation University Medical College, as the Head of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and Artificial Limbs Centre at Fauji Foundation Hospital, where he continued to make significant contributions to patient care. Since 2019, Dr. Waheed has served as the Director of AKi, further showcasing his dedication to improving healthcare services and contributing to the organization’s mission. His vast experience, deep knowledge, and unwavering commitment to patient care make him an invaluable asset to AKi and the medical community as a whole.
JEHANGIR SAIFULLAH KHAN
Jehangir Saifullah Khan is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse range of business experience spanning over 20 years. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he honed his skills and knowledge in the field of business. Mr. Khan’s extensive expertise and leadership qualities have led him to hold several prominent positions in various organizations. Currently, Jehangir Saifullah Khan serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Saif Energy Limited, Director JSK Feeds Limited and Chairman D.I. Khan New City, where he plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s success and growth. As the CEO, he is responsible for formulating strategic plans, implementing effective business strategies, and ensuring the overall operational excellence of the organization.
Since 2017, Jehangir Saifullah Khan has served as the Director of AKi, showcasing his commitment to philanthropy and healthcare initiatives. In this capacity, he actively contributes to the organization’s mission and vision, working alongside other board members to ensure effective governance and strategic decision making.
